The Temp

So the last time I wrote about my job I was hopeful. :) Now. Not so much. I'm a temp. That blog was almost 2 and half years ago! And I still don't have a real adult job! If your saying WTH? I know times are tough. They are even tougher when you refuse to work for less than $9.
I don't know where I got the idea that I would get a degree and get a job fresh out of college making $15 an hour. I must have lost my mind. How dare I think of such a thing w/o PH.D. Those people get paid real money -_- yeah right. I might attach the artical about the lawyer who has her own cleaning business in NYC to make ends cuz no one is really hiring lawyer right now. I just might.
  The jacked up thing is, all the things you heard about getting a good job are true! Yes it is all about who you know! Yupe I said it. It's about who know. Now of course there is more to it than just knowing the CEO or preforming sexual favors for the right person. Side note: I don't know anyone who's stellar sexual performance got them their dream job. I honestly don't. Also it would be good if you can actually do the job, or be trained to do it.
If you know the right people, you will have a decent job or even the idea of your career path in no time. It's all about networking in the right circles. Also being a decent person works in most people's favor, even though that's not always the case. This is were the snake supervisior usually comes and smiles at you. Grrr. I digress
I've found that most people who are working in a certain field are only *snapping of fingers* that far away from someone who can help them get to where they want to be. With all of that being said GO TALK TO SOMEONE
