The Best Men Holiday

November 15, 2013. A day I've been long forward to because a sequel to one of my favorite movies The Best Man was opening in Theaters nation wide.

So because I'm that person, I'm going to give YOU my opinion on the movie: it was  Excellent.
The story has heart, more than the last couple of movies I've seen in recent years. It was in-depth. The characters have grown and matured ....well some have.  The movie  picks up 15 years later from the 1st.. Just like in life there have been ups and downs. People have going married, divorced, and had children.

Now if your not familiar with the story line from the 1st movie, there are mos def enough notes dropped to make you want to rent it, after seeing this movie. In the Best Man Holiday some old issues are actually dealt with in way I expect.  *Warning* This is a chick flick my dude. But thanks to Quentin (Terrence Howard) quick-witted character you won't be left without your share of laughter.
Oh did I mention the fashion and styling in the movie was so on point. Jordan (Nia Long)suit in her opening scene.*snaps * to die for. Then the dress for the black and white party. Yesssss. ♥♡♥♡ Loved it. Also I have to say I loved the fact that the women did not outshine the men in wardrobe department. Lance (Morris Chestnut) in a plaid suit with the paisley tie?! Very different and daring. He pulled it off very well. Then Quentin (Howard) and all his scarfs. Mmmm so Posh and I'll say it sexy.
Ok I can go on-on about this movie, but I will try to tame myself a bit.Cause in all honesty I can't keep a secret and I don't want to tell you the story of the movie.
Let's see in summary this is an adult movie. Great for date night and a trip to the Cinema-cafe. There is quite a bit of adult humor in addition to adult topics. So please leave the children at home. I'm not even sure about teens letting my  young teens go see this one w/o Auntie Reeta.
So I am a movie goer but I am also very thrifty. This movie is worthy the $ money, mulah, screalah scratch..yes I'm going to get it onces it comes out on dvd but I didn't feel robbed by going to the threater to see it. It is a little on the long side
Overall Excellent movie. Dare I say OutStanding :)  I leave you with the movie trailer. *shrug* Why not? Let me know what you thought of the movie or even your view points on this blog. LoveStruggle, and Always Peace.
